And, yeah, that's me on the far left, rocking the "I raided Stevie Nicks' closet" look.

So I'm curious because going back to college soon that will have sororities. What's it really like? Is it worth doing/something I should consider?

I had a very atypical Greek experience, because Emory and Henry didn't allow national organizations. Ours were all local. Add into that that I quit one (long story) and was an honorary in another, and I'm not sure how a national one would differ. I will say that I remain close to BOTH sets of sisters. I don't think that would happen with nationals.

The smallbear is loving her sorority.
Hers is also a "local" and not a national sorority. Her campus has one of each - the biggest difference I see between them is cost, as the national sorority members have to pay dues to the big parent group as well as to the local chapter.

And I STILL miss that dress. And those boots.

I do have the choker, though. ;)

It really does. However, after the horrific stuff that happened this week, it also strikes me how innocent we look. E&H was like that. It was a place to grow up, and we were just starting out.

Thank you.

Every time you talk about the way your sorority treated you, I wish you could have been part of this group.
