Dec. 26th, 2015

I will not turn on the AC.  I will not turn on the AC.  I will not turn on the AC.

Normally, I love that our little house holds heat.  Not so much at the moment.  All the windows are open and the heat is off.  But I'm baking brownies and boiling eggs for devilled eggs for our holiday supper tonight...and the thermostat is reading 74F.

Later, there is ham to be prepared, along with roasted potatoes, corn casserole, and green beans.  I don't even KNOW what that is going to do.  I might cave.  Who knows?  I've decided that I'll go as high as 78F, then it's game over.

But global warming is a myth, right?

The weather is crazy, I've heard friends thinking of mowing the lawn this christmas. It should be covered in snow or at least frozen ;)

It is nice when we do 't have heat, as the blizzard where it got -2837474 below zero, but when I bake in normal weather I feel I have to take off my shirt, and my neighbors don't have time for that,
