One more day!  And tomorrow is payday!  And I'm off the weekend!  AND I get to meet sarahendipity and her kids!

Life doesn't exactly suck right now.

AND, when I called Kent to make sure he was up (he's doing 3:30-close today), he cheerfully informed me he'd hung out the laundry, cleaned out the fridge, changed the sheets, and put beans on to soak.

I don't give a damn HOW much grief I get from those [gendered expletive deleted] people I work with,   Jealousy really is an ugly thing.  But I have his back and he has mine, and FUCK the rest of the world.  I celebrate every little thing he does for me.

Boss Lady J suggested yesterday that I move to 2nd shift, because Kent and I would have mornings together.  3-11.  Which means no buses.  Working during my low energy time.  And working with people who don't show up half the time.

Yeah.  No.

"Well, talk to Kent about it."

WHAT FUCKING YEAR IS THIS!?!?!!?

I smiled and said I would, because a) I will do as I want and b) I knew his answer would contain more swears than mine did.

Even better, Angela (my work GF) heard the offer and rushed up.  "Oh, HELL NO!  Uh uh.  You are NOT spliting us up!    We're the only reason a damn thing gets done around here!  Ain't that right, Ada?"

Ada's a resident.  And she sat up and said "Damn right!  Stuff!  Here!"

Don't argue with the 86 year old woman, y'all.  She will spit bananna puree all over you.  Trust me.  I know from experience.

Fuck me.  I want to leave, then I have days like this.

And the really cute speech therapist flirted with me when I was on my way out.  He likes my braids.  :)

(And Angela grabbed my arm and said "Yeah...we're leaving now.  Watch Miz L, because she's extra bitey today" and dragged me off.  And called me a shameless hussy.  Can't really argue on that one)

At a couple of former jobs, I've often had to perform other employees' share of the work. Nearly traumatized me for life too. One former coworker from long ago who did that to me is lucky I'm not above the law, since I would have drawn a knife on him and crammed a blade in his throat. That's EXACTLY how irate it made me.

Your husbeast sounds like he's the ultimate catch. You're really lucky to have him and he's the luckiest guy in the world to have you.

We worked opposite shifts at kirtland, which kept us from paying for a sitter but gave us no time together.

It is always great to meet new elljayers. Yeah, don't work with the people who never show up for for or show up late. You would be the only one working, I used the word "hussy" in my novel.

My boss in Jamaica did that to me. He was sending me and two male coworkers for training, and told me I needed to check with Nathan before I agreed to go. Didn't ask the men to check with their wives -- despite the fact that one of their wives is scary (in absolutely the best keeps-his-ass-in-line way!)
